Welcome! My name is Tyler and at the heart of my work as a counsellor is the belief that healing begins in a space where you feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood. I strive to create an open, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment grounded in a person-centred and strength-based approach. You are the expert of your own life — no one knows your experiences, needs, and world better than you do.

Our work together is collaborative. Through genuine empathy, curiosity, and connection, we will explore your experiences at your pace, honouring your strengths while navigating life’s challenges. I believe growth happens when we can fully be our true self.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I have completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I previously studied at the University of Guelph and Lakehead University, where I earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science with a focus on Human Nature.

My therapeutic style is eclectic and integrative, drawing from a range of approaches to best support your unique goals and needs. I am able to provide CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution-focused Therapy and focus mainly on humanistic, person-centred therapy. I love to work with individuals, couples, families, focusing on a wide range of different areas including anxiety, depression, addiction, career counselling, sport psychology, and healthy development. This flexibility allows me to adapt our work together and meet you where you are and want to go.

In my spare time, I love being active, getting out with friends, and trying new things. Above all I love being with my partner, Leanne, and cat, Tom. We are a big outdoors family, all things sports, and love travelling, but more than anything, we love our nights in and relaxing all together.

I truly believe therapy is a shared experience — one where I learn from you just as much as you learn from me. We explore, we grow, and we learn together. It is truly an honour to walk alongside you on your journey.
